My early years...

I grew up as an only child. My father died in a tragic accident and that left me to be raised by my mother as a single parent. I learned quickly how to respond and interact with adults as I went with my mother to all her events. I learned to be quiet. To hang out in the background and only speak when I was spoken to.

Going to school was hard. Even though I had two different babysitters: one who had four kids, and one who had five, I never felt comfortable. I was afraid I would say the wrong thing and often I did. From Kindergarten to high school, social interactions often led to more negative experiences than positive ones.

This not knowing how to relate led to co-dependent behaviors. I wanted to connect with others so much that I became a people pleaser and was too ashamed to admit what

I wanted for fear of being ridiculed.

Adult Years...

It wasn't until my early 20's that I finally started to learn how to step into who I am, although it took me into my 40's to really start standing strong in who I am, trusting that my inner knowingness inspired by my connection with God that I really became strong and began to trust that I really did know how to live a life that was fitting for me.

When I was 20 and worked with a very challenging woman I discovered the gift of kindness and how it brought about connection. I was able to turn an enemy into an ally.

I married in my late 20's to a man who was also fearful of really standing in his true state of being, thus it led to a very toxic relationship. The good that came out of the relationship were my four children and very healthy strong relationships that are still strong today.

Through my experiences I learned how to lead others through Conscious Connection. I followed the following principles and created a life I truly love living:

Thank you for being here, I very much appreciate you and look forward to sharing more with you and seeing your very own Spirit of Success rise upwards.
